WHAT IS STEPPIN’? an immensely popular style cultural dance form that typically combines the elegance of ballroom dancing with various elements of hand and social dancing. Sometimes called cha-cha, walking, swing-out and ballroom dancing in other parts of the nation, the original dance style of ”Steppin’” is rooted in the city of Chicago.
